Rep Power: 0 | | | Follow My Weight Loss Journey Using Turbo Jam Hi Everyone,
I’m Shica and I’m here to document My weight loss using Turbo Jam.
I will post pictures of a smaller me 3yrs ago before the second baby , A Huge Pregnant Picture of myself and my present weight. I will post updated pictures every 2-3 week in the same outfit until I reach My Goal.
This Is My Story. ( I will try to give you the Shortest Version)
I’m a 29yrs-old Married Mother of Two. I’m 5’6” Current Weight 194lbs (An all time high without being pregnant… Way too much for me!!!)
My weight gain began over the past few years do to Stress and Depression.
I was with My Grandmother during her first and last Illness Cancer. That was the toughest time in both of our lives, She past away in December 2006. She was My Best friend I learned so much from her. I found out I was Pregnant 1wk after she passed away.
I was well over weight by the time I found out I was Pregnant (170lbs) because of every thing that happened During the year of 2006
Here’s a list:
1st Miscarriage
My Daughter broke her leg and was placed in a Full Lower Body Cast.
2nd Miscarriage
Grandfather Passed away Nov 06 ( My Mothers Dad ) My Favorite Pa-Pa
3rd Miscarriage ( I was Ready to Give Up It was just too much to handle)
Grandmother Passed Away ( My Daddy’s Mom, and My Rock)
This Proved to be the worst time for me, but when I found out I was Pregnant soon after My Greatest Loss I tried to pull myself out of the state of crying everyday and dragging around. So my body would not reject this baby, I was still hopeful I just didn’t want to set myself up for more heartache& pain. It was a difficult pregnancy a few miscarriage scares before the 2nd trimester. But I made it through and now we have another Beautiful Child a 6-month old baby boy.
My Pregnancy weight was 205lbs I gain the typical 35lbs and after Birth I went down to 175lbs. Then I went back in to that depressed state and eat my way up to 194lbs.
I can’t live my life like this, so I’m going to take control of my life and take better care of (ME) myself.
You can follow me as I make a big change in my life.
I only hope that I can help someone to see that even if you have gone through/are going through some rough times. There’s still hope and you can take charge of your life and lose that depressing weight, and change your eating habits. Because I myself am a stress Eater and, I am going to change that a now...I won’t let it control my life.
Alright Here are some Pictures of me 3yrs ago
Me, My Grandmother,& Little Girl

It's Nice to meet someone you can relate your situation,
Because they understand your emotional state.
I wish you the best while working off the rest of your baby weight, only you can make it happen.
I've done it before I hope to do it again and make a few more life changes along the way.
Thanks Again Taz !!! |

I'll try my best to get back to a health weight for my height.
To me it's not about a number as for as a Goal weight. I want to be tone with no baby fat on my belly.
My natural body shape before babies was a small waist, big butt, and thick thighs. I have always gain weight in the bottom half first, Now that has spread everywhere.
So I really is time for me to take control of my emotional eating, and get back to working out everyday for at least 2hrs a day everyday until I whip myself back in to shape.
Thanks so much for your Support! |

Rep Power: 0 | | You're so pretty and you have a great shape! Turbo Jam is awesome... I do a lot of the Beachbody videos, doing them has helped me drop about 20 lbs in the past few months. Two hours of exercise a day?! WOW there's no way I could do that. Is that something you feel like you can stick with? If so, you are more woman than me
Good luck to you, you will tone up really fast with TJ. |

Rep Power: 18505 | | Hi there! Welcome to the WL forum! Your pics will provide great inspiration (for you and for others). Be sure to update as you lose! I can relate to the dreaded bottom-heavy pear shape. *sigh* Genes sure stink sometimes! However, I am sure you will find (as I have) that you are just lovely and curvy as the weight departs!
Best wishes on your journey,
ABBA
