I've heard several stories and read many testimonials to the acai berry drinking acai juice or taking acai tablets. I've drunk acai juice and didn't notice anything. I've heard that it curbs your appetite, gives you energy and helps in taking off weight. Are any of these claims true? I signed up to get free tablets, but since I didn't join the club selling the tablets, I didn't get them. Has anyone had success with any of the acai products?

Isn't amazing to those who have been doing this long enough how easily it is to pick the trends of the next 'hot item' promised to provide miracles?

I tried Acai juice about a year ago. It did nothing. Then I tried a good diet and good exercise and what do you know? I lost the weight. Must have been the berries took a while to kick in. :D

I have a cousin who lives in San Diego who gets fresh Acai berries. He eats them because he likes it, but with no boost of energy or anything. It's just another berry that is food.

The only thing I thought when I saw the ads for that was, "Oh...a fruit I had no idea existed." Isn't the whole thing behind it that it's a good antioxidant? If that's all it is, go get some blueberries for less money.

You could waste your time and money..
Or you could just eat right and exercise to get real results. :)

There was an add for Acai Berry using before/after pics that were stolen off the web...
If the results were real they wouldn't need to steal pics from someone who lost weight the right way...

Just my 2 cents. :)

You know what? I actually just saw an ad for a site promoting it and was wondering why the girl in the picture looked so familiar. She's on this site, I just don't know her name.

So these berries will make you lose weight regardless of calories?

yeah, didn't you know?
They come from the skinny berry bush that have this special ingredient that actually absorbes all the other calories and fat that you've eaten that day.
Once it's sucked all those up it moves on to your stored body fat and soon you will look just like Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie!! It even add's extra muscle in to all the right spots!
It's amazing...

And I know this is true because a spammer pimping it told me so!

I'm amazed at how many people buy into the next big diet craze! They just have a great marketing team is all...look how it's working! We're all talking about it...doing the work for them!

Bad publicity is not good publicity in my experience.

I heard putting the Acai berries where the sun don't shine after a colon cleanse leads to 34.7763% better gains.

Have you heard this?

A bit?

lol

I'm get spam in all my email accounts from it daily. I belong to multiple forums and there's not one where spammers aren't relentlessly attacking forum members to buy the stupid stuff.

They all claim it to be miraculous.

It's beyond silly, really.

She's a fucking joke. I don't like any one person having that much influence over the masses.

yea, some WWII romance thing...guess they are still going through w/ the movie though. I have to agree w/ Steve though...no one should be as big as she is. And, I know people will disagree w/ me...BUT, she doesn't believe in true christianity..the 3 in one...and for her to be so huge putting out her disbelief like that, turns me off big time...but again, thats me...not intrested in any debate on the matter.

I was thinking of marketing weight-loss dirt... think anyone would buy it? :reddevil: :iamwithstupid:

Acai is very high in anti-oxidants, and is considered a superfood, but it's not going to help you lose weight... I guess fighting free radicals doesn't generate enough ad revenue...
