Doesn't the green stuff give you the munchies and therefore gain weight?

It does speed up your metabolism...I think that's why it gives you the munchies. The food you eat on the munchies kinda doesn't exist. I don't know if this happens for everyone though.
Problem is...one day you might want to quit.
Anyway, you do look good Rocky.

Uhhh... yeah, the green stuff has the OPPOSITE effect on me, lol! I lost 40 lbs from January to August... I'm a FT broke student, but came into a bit of money in August... smoked a bit more than usual for a couple of months, and VOILA! no more weight loss! On the bright side, my stress levels went waaaay down, hehe.
Now that I'm broke again, I've decided to refocus my weight loss efforts and lose the last 20 lbs. Luckily, I was able to maintain even with all those pizza and ice cream sandwich binges!!
You look awesome, darn right you iz sexC boy naio!!

quite the opposite my friend...felt the need to correct this so people just starting on the weight loss trail (especially students) don't go out and start growing crazy smoking and eating. When it comes down to it its calories in vs calories out. Trust me i lost 100 pounds and marijuana does not help whatsoever. In all honesty, it make you crave fatty foods and portion control is out the window. Some can handle it but most cant. Food always counts, no matter the situation.
btw, good job on your transformation, its good to see young people taking control of a healthy lifestyle. Remember anyone can do this with exercise and healthy foods, no need for the green stuff.
Any questions ill be happy to answer,
Trevor

Yeah sorry, that was a reckless statement...but let me highlight that I did say maybe not for everyone. In my experience, this was the case, and thinking about people I know that enjoy the green regularly, but I realise it wouldn't be across the board.
I did honestly think that it did increase metabolism, but I just googled it, and there is no evidence of this. But you have to admit that most people who smoke, are slim.
All I meant was, even if this is the case, it's not a reliable tool, because it has other negative effects, and you might be stuck in an internal dilemma when you want to quit.
I don't think it should be promoted as a weight loss miracle.

That reminds of a kid I knew back in high school. When I left high school to switch to an alternative school he was fat and getting into drugs. The next year he ended up at the alternative school too and was quite thin.
Of course I know for a fact that it wasn't just weed he was doing. (cocaine---etc).
