Quick progress update, sorry for the blur on some pictures, camera's crap:

I was 286 Friday for the picture, but I'm down to 285 as of today, which means a total of 50 pounds lost total! I took all my pictures in that shirt because it was one that I had that didn't fit me, so I figured I could track my way into the shirt with photos :) I'm well over halfway to my year-end goal of 250, and I don't know if you can tell due to the blur, but that shirt's actually baggy on me in the gut now! I've got 5 more months to lose the last 35, then begins CUTFEST '09! Wish me luck!

Amazing! I lost the same amount of weight over the course of a year, you did it this summer! What did you do diet and exercise wise? How tall are you?

Thanks a lot everybody!

Amazing! I lost the same amount of weight over the course of a year, you did it this summer! What did you do diet and exercise wise? How tall are you?

I'm 5' 11". Diet is basically just cut out the crap. No drinks but water, skim milk (in protein shakes and cereal), and the occasional black coffee. Very high protein, carbs exclusively from veggies, fruits, and whole grains. I knew if I did some hardcore diet then I'd never stick with it, so I just decided to eat like a normal human should instead.

Exercise is heavy (FREE WEIGHT, machines are for wimps) lifting MWF with 5 minutes cardio before and after for warm up and cool down, and either 30-60 minutes steady state or 5-10 minutes HIIT cardio on 3 of the 4 non-lifting days.

Thanks again guys!

Oh wow, my thread got raised from the dead.

Thanks everybody. I'm on pace to finally hit the 260's this Friday on my official weekly weight, which means I'm well on pace to hitting my goal of 250 by Christmas!

Oh, and I'm absolutely addicted to weight lifting now. :)
