On May 6th, I went to my nearest Fred Meyer store and got singing sensation Josh Grobans new concert DVD called "Awake Live" and I havn't been able to stop watching it since. I highly recommend it to anyone on this board who is a fan of great music, Josh sings absolutly beautifully on this DVD and he interacts with the crowd more than I have seen any other musciain do. If you have never heard of him before either go to his website to check out some performances if you'd like, I guarentee once you've heard him you'll want to get this DVD :)

The best concert DVD ever is Stevie Ray Vaughn and Double Trouble: Live at the El Mocombo. You can almost see the talent oozing out of the guy. OK so it is more likely whiskey than talent but still. I have seen ballets, operas, musicals, classical soloists and of course a lot of commercial artists live. None of them has ever stricken me with such awe as SRV live.
