Hi wanted to make a group for people planning holidays in June and hoping to be in bikins by then :) that was my goal last year and although i did ok never quite stuck to it, hoping to do it this year :D

Hope theres some other people with the same goal so we can give each other some support :D

:) i'm definite this year, wore a bikini last year, i was maybe half a stone slimmer than now and more toned, but i still felt a bit weird, i wnt to be a stone lighter at least. Holidays would be amazing if you'd just lost weight :D all the chances to show it off :D

I'm only 19 and bikini by June has been my goal for the last 7 years. I have already lost most of my weight, so June this year is a realistic goal.

Ha ha, what the heck, I'm in too! I wear bikini's at the beach, but always have some type of cover up over top, so my goal for June is to flaunt it at the beach for a change, lol.

wearing a bikini that's covered in long white linen or a sweatshirt does NOT count! And those bathing suits with the skirts already attatched? Sheer disaster. Might as well just wear your clothes in the water.

lol i wore a bikini last summer, so i guess my goal would be to wear a bikini this summer and (a)feel good in it and (b) look good in it. i probably didn't look as bad last summer as i thought i did, as my current boyfriend said i had a "barbie doll" figure, and that was before we were going out, i can only contribute that to the fact that i'm 5'9" otherwise i'd look a real mess. so this year will be better, and i won't feel all blobby and gross. yay!

I really hope that i can join you guys with the bikini in June...or even July would make me happy.

:) i've got an excercise vid to start doing :) i wanted a dance workout one and my mum was picking it up and came home with a fhm high street honeys one lol i think its' actually meant for men to watch but it looks pretty good anyway :)

i'm totally in! what a great idea to make us all post a bikini picture in june...that's a huge motivator! i've never worn a bikini before even though i was a competitive swimmer for 7 years and i had a really great body (i just didn't know it at the time!)...i'd love to say yes this summer when somebody asks if i wanna go to the beach! and then i'd love to be able to strut my stuff knowing i look good in the suit! my only concern are my stretch marks, but i've heard they fade a little when you lose weight and i'll use some tanning lotion...hopefully they won't be visible.

my goal is to lose 10 pound per month...i'm 5'10" and i'll be happy at 150, but my ideal goal is 140 :)

i just came across this and it sounds awesome! my goal is to be wearing a bikini this summer. i have been a competive swimmer my whole life until these last two years...now i am in college and i gained the "freshman 15" plus some...but i am definately in and i can't wait to see how awesome we all look this summer! good luck everyone!!! :)

It's been about five years since I wore a regular two piece bikini to the beach, usually I wear a tankini.....and still feel fat and ugly. This year I will wear a bikini.......no doubt about it!

OMG....Victoria Secret has awesome ones in the clearance stuff on their website that is very affordable....or they used to anyway. I got both of mine for like $50 bucks or something. The black one alone was about $100 regular price. Yay for deals!

I have a turquoise one with multi-colored sparklies on the top. It is soooo pretty! Then I have a black one with a blue dragonfly with holes on the top and on the bottom at the tailbone (dh's favorite). They are both so pretty. I could wear them 3 years ago, when I was 110 pounds, but not now. :(

I am determined to get back in a bikini by this summer!!!! Going to Pensacola last year overweight was so sad for me. I cried the first two days we were there and could only be depressed everywhere we went. My oldest son said, "you're not fat mom...your just a little juicy." :D -Gotta love the kid.

Dh has lost 24 pounds so far and I have lost only 5. :( It sucks, but I'm losing. I'm still DAMN DETERMINED to strut my stuff this summer!

Most bikini's (except maybe Walmart) you can buy the pieces separate. I've got big ta-ta's too, but I always mix & match my sizes. :blush5: Big top, smaller bottom.

I can't wait untill the bikini arrives in the mail! I'm going to take a before picture of myself in it (yikes!!) and hang it up in my room to motivate me every day. I've never taken progress pictures of myself, so I thinking having something skimpy will be great for that purpose also.

I have a pair of jeans hanging in my room that I look at everyday for motivation. It helps me. That may sound a little obsessive, but oh well. Whatever works eh?

I'm in. Bikin in June with pictures. I just came back from mexico and I have a ton of bikini's but of course when I wore them I made sure I was covered up so there was really no point. I'm going to vegas in June so I want to be able to walk around in my bikin with NO coverup.

I saw two really gorgeous bikinis in a shop today, :D one was green and sort of tropical looking and halterneck, so pretty, and the ohter was floral and really really pretty. I'm going to buy them, I have 3 as a goal now lol.

Btw, I have been going tanning....to a salon since the weather hasn't exactly been tanning quality and I have found that being tanned has made me look slimmer.....just a thought for you guys. Of course, don't overdo it under the sun or tanning bed!

I'm still around. I was a little horrified when I realized it was June already. I'm still in though. I am definitely not in bikini shape, yet. To be honest I probably won't be in bikini shape when I reach my goal weight. I've been taking bikini pics from the launch of the club, so at least I look better than I did then!!!

Though I'd never go to the beach in a bikini.... I'll definitely take one for the team and post a picture. Are we wanting to do it now or towards the end of the month? I'm good either way, but it would be nice to have a mass posting (how's that for micro-managing, LOL).It doesn't seem like anyone wants to be the first to post. LOL! I wonder why??!!!

When I donned the bikini today I though, "Oh my god, I look soooo hideous still". I'm definitely not where I'd like to be to where a bikini out. When I saw the old pictures it made me feel a heck of a lot better. I guess I have come a long ways, already!

Btw, you have made a huge change all over. You look incredibly slimmer. Also, I wanted to add that I think you can get away with wearing a bikini out to the pool beach etc... I don't think you are as big as you think you are but, we are always our own worst critics, right? I wouldn't think anything if I saw you at my pool because you don't look too shabby, I go to my pool wearing a bikini and we are about the same size and I see women much heavier than me rocking a two piece all the time and nobody bats an eye lid.

The bathing suit is actually two totally separate ones, I just grabbed what I found first, got the top from Old Navy (only $10) and the bottoms were from Target ($15).

As for bikinis by Jan, feel free to start your own thread, I'm sure people will join. I'm out of the next one since only one other person posted a pic.
