Heyyyyy guysssssss.

After my loss of 128lbs...

I've been left with UNBELIEVABLY hideous breasts.

I'm talkin' 90 yr old half empty saddle bags... You dont understand how ugly, and how uncomfortable these puppies are.
I look like a deformed alien.

Even worse.

I'm 17.... and I really.. I just CAN'T go around in life with these. My self esteem is shot... just from them, and I'm not even kidding.

So... anyhow....

Breast Lifts.... anyone have one done?

I've been trying to look into financial aid for it...
I want my dad to call about it today... But He just doesnt understand how upset this stuff makes me.

Why dont they do breast lift surgery on someone that is younger than 18?

God, this is awful.

Because you're still growing, and that growth will affect the end result unpredictably. Even if you were over 18, you'd want to wait until you finished losing (and maybe a year or so after that, to let things settle out), to get the best result.

your skin might just bounce back on it's own... major elective surgery you really want to think about...

How quickly didyou lose the weight?

and is it really as awful as you think it is?

Are you doing any kind of weight training - especially for your back and chest -while the boobs are really fatty tissue, there is muscle behind them -and you might get some perkage by increasing the muscle.

Or get yourself some really pretty supportive bras...

I don't really have any valuable advice to offer you, but I'm right there in the same boat with you ;/ I've also lost over 100 lbs and am left with the boobs of a 90 year old woman. It sucks a lot, and I too hope I'll be able to afford a breast lift eventually.

I've looked into this as well, because I fear what my already kind of ugly breasts will look like when I lose weight. But, I know that having a breast lift before you're done having children isn't really wise because not only can having children pretty much destroy the breast lift, but it can also stop you from being able to breast feed (one or two words?) your children.

So I'm hoping I become rather flat chested while I lose weight.

I've been trying weights n stuff...

I even do some pushups... Someone told me those help with that area.

And the children thing? If I have breasts this ugly, I wont get to have children!

hah.. I unno. I've been thinking about the mastopexy for some time now...It seems to be the only thing that would help. I've tried weights... pushups...

I unno. anyone else have like, types of exercises, maybe? I mean, I'll try them to the fullest... and give a very honest try..

Hocus, we need a miracle. =P

I asked my doctor about a breast reduction and all that- I know its not the same thing, but I am sure the "rules" are the same . She told me there was noway anyone would do it until you are 18, at a healthy weight, and you go through a long period of evaluation and a waiting period. Your measurements have to be a certain amount for your height and such. I would wait until you are finished loosing weight anyways, and a bit after. Get a padded "lift" bra, I am not talking about to increase the size, just to give your boobs a round shape. *** and make sure you get fitted so it is the proper size*** ( thats most important!).

Good Luck! I know how frustrating boobs can be :P

Yea- I never bought a padded bra before up until last July and I never wear one without it now! Its not to much padding, but enough to give the round shape. I buy mine from lane bryant , cacqiue is the name. I like it, I should try the Biofit though! Sounds nice.

Lol. My boobs spill into my bras... No matter what kind I buy.

But I think for my 18th birthday, A boob job will be my gift... birthday present for the next 40 years.. and my graduation present as well.

I mean. I just looked in the mirror, Trying to accept what I have. And I couldnt.. but I also flexed my muscles... yes.. I did.. infront of the mirror, I'm admitting to this...

My chest muscles to be exact, And oddly, I have very well shaped chest muscles. when i flex. you can tell where my breasts should be. Its more like.. My breast is a big frump of skin. with fatty tissue settled at the bottoms. weighing them down. And No amount of weightlifting will lift them.

On the other hand. when I hit 18. I plan on being at my goal weight anyhow.

Besides, I want to look good, BRALESS.

I'm currently in a relationship... All that jazz. with a wonderful man. Although we havent had sex yet, we've been together long enough to where it's steering to that direction..

Bleh, I dont know. I think he deserves better. than the body i have to offer. he's a skinny lil' thing , even with a hard tummy.. no flab..

Cant exactly have sexy with a bra on, that would be a lil weird. and I'm sure he'd want to take it off. He's already tried, and we havent had sex yet!

Lol, anyhow. they're so painful. But I will DEF. Look into the biofit bras, I need some new bras. mine are WAY too big on me now. and I just got them like a month ago.

Also, sorry for adding a bit of personal info in there with the relationship, but everyone talks about bras.. bras dont help anything, but make you look good in clothes!

I'm not a guy but I've been around enough to know that the good ones - don't care... naked is naked and that's all that matters... If you've got confidence in yourself that's what counts and confidence comes from within not your boobs...

looking good in clothes, however, is what gets their attention.. and makes them want to think naked.. once you're naked... thought process tends to go out the window..

boys are cute like that :D

At least you still have breasts, heh. I went from being a 40 DD to... well... a 32 A. Talk about stretch marks! Perhaps I'm even a 30 A now. It's awesome when I go jogging though, those puppies don't move. I do understand about the nasty skin. I'll pinch it... and it doesn't snap back.

Still, I would say just give it time. My skin has snapped back a bit. I'm struggling more with the skin on my stomach at the moment. Just thoroughly research everything, know the risks and the consequences. In the end it is your body and your happiness, but know the facts.

And as for padded bras, they are the best. Oh, I'll be sure to disappoint some guy some day when my bra comes off, haha.

As the old saying goes -more than a mouthful is a waste.. :D

I want big boobs. Big boobs without the big stomach. But I'd rather have a flat chest than my obese boobs now. :-s.

If I get a flat chese I can get implants :D. Implants don't reduce the chances of not being able to breast feed quite as much as a breast lift, I don't believe.

But I'm one of those no sex before marriage people. So he'll have to marry me before he decides whether to love or hate my boobs :D. Is that manipulative?:blush5:

Hey sweetie! I am sorry you have having confidence issues with your breasts. I totally have been there. I lost 40 pounds - and I couldn't have been any less happy with my breasts.

I got a breast lift and reduction on May 9. After I lost some of the weight, I decided to go talk to a plastic surgeon (it's free usually for a consultion). I was shocked to find out that my insurance covered 100 percent of the surgery. I paid a $100 deductable. That's it. Now, I have perky (and smaller) breasts that I couldn't be happier with. I went from a 36DD to a 36C.

My suggestion is to talk to someone about it. They will give you all the pros/cons and be completely honest with you. Good luck and message me if you have any other questions about my situation :)

Stupid of me, I actually got THAT involved with the breast lift issue.. I was on the phone and everything.. but then they seen i wasnt 18... and they're like.... We can't help you, sorry...

SO...

I find it odd, a 17 yr old girl can get breast implants... but a 17 yr old girl cant get a breast lift? That doesnt seem right.

that's crazy! what about with a parent's permission?

cocacola144
June 15th, 2008, 02:01 PM
Well, they didnt even mention a parent's permission. they just bluntly said they cant help me..

I dont think i can get a parent's permission?

but If i could, I know my dad would SO sign for me.

He knows how messed up i am because of this.

I would call and ask about it -- I'm almost positive it will work. Tell them your parents want you to have this done or something. See if you can talk to a nurse -- usually the receptionists are not medical professionals. Keep me posted and good luck!

I'm really sorry your feeling the way you are about your body, but I can honestly say, if, when your boyfriend sees you naked, decides he doesn't want to be with you, he isn't worth being together with. He would oficially be scum of the earth. Buy yourself some bras and panties that make you feel good, get some camisole tops that will cover more of the breasts. It's amazing how good you look when you carry yourself with more confidence.

THat being said, I've been on the waiting list for a breast reduction for the past 2 1/2 years. It's completely 100% covered by medical here in BC Canada, so that's why the wait list is so long. If I could have got one done when I was 16, I would have, but no doctor would even look at me. Looking back, I"m glad I waited, because I was able to breastfeed both of my children without a single drop of formula, which I probably wouldn't have been able to do had I got the reduction.

Coming from a male perspective.. and also loving female breasts and bums :)

All I can say is that personally Ilike female boobs that are natural and unmodified. I can sympathise with ladies that have had breast cancer, or they are just to big and heavy and putting stress on the back. And also females that are too small and may have a complex about them.

But all in all Natural is Best !!

This is JMO but I say, once you've reached your goal weight, do whatever makes YOU happy! You are only 17 and I know exactly what you are talking about... without clothes on you probably look like one of those women on National Geographic with the saggy, skinny, empty "sacs" hanging to their belly buttons lol! (Not being rude, just know from personal experience what you're going through.) I don't blame you one bit for wanting to fix that. In most cases, breastfeeding will still be an option IF it's something you want to do. I also know how you feel about your boyfriend. I'm sure, if he really loves you, he will think you are beautiful regardless... BUT if YOU don't feel beautiful, it can affect a lot of different areas in your life... DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY GIRL! :hurray:

Pancake/crepe boobies, got those, gonna get a boob job but have to wait until money is sorted.
I want to get rid of the excess skin first, the boobs are secondary.

But I know what you're talking about regarding the bra things. ii tried a push up bra and there just lierally isnt any fat there to push up, it just pushes the boobs out the side ... not the top but both sides!
Ive not yet found many decent bras that can hold it in.

To Mal and the others, imagine a plastic bag with water in it, it flops all over the show, so make it sit in a nice boob like shape it just flops on the side unless you get some sort of granny bra that goes right up under the armpit and round the entire front.
Shaped sports bras are the only thing that seem to work for me and look vaguely decent. Pushup just look horrible and rolls hang out the side or the boobs just fall out when i move.

trustme when I say my boobs aren't the greatest... but push up bras aren't what I'm talking about... push up bras tend to only look decent on A or AA cups... there are shaper bras out there for all cup sizes that do a good job of shaping and supporting and making you look ok with your clothes on...

I wouldn't call my bras granny bras -but maybe they are -they do cover the entire boob -cleavage isn't appropriate in the workplace anyhow :D

plastic bags of water *giggle*

I have no boobs to shape, just skin flaps :D

Agreed about the cleavage in the workplace, but will somebody tell that fat chick in customer support who insists on displaying hers for all to see! :O

the office manager in my office is a rather busty gal - and not exactly a waifish thing she's a size 20 who dresses like she's a size 2 - that 0 really matters.. tube top dresses, low cut v-neck shirts, tank tops - she doesn't own a proper bra...and well - she really should -the boob should sit between your shoulder and your elbow -not by the belly button.. (

and I'mnot sure who she's showing off for - 90 percent of the male population round here isn't into girls...

I have breast implants. I got them done in 2005 [before baby weight attacked me haha]. I must say it was the best thing I did for myself next to losing 50lbs when I was 17. My problem was I didn't have any boobs... I literally had the chest of a 10yr old. I was a grown woman but felt like I was trapped in the body of a young child. I hated it. I couldn't find any tops that fit right or any bras... nothing. I finally decided I wanted the surgery and I went from a 36A/AA to a 36D I was so happy. I felt complete. I don't care what people think about me as far as getting breast implants either. Its my body and my life... Some people will say "You should be happy with what God gave you".. well 1. I don't believe in God and 2. Im the one that has to look at myself naked everyday and if im not happy than I should do something about it... My Boyfriend gave the ol' "I like natural boobs"... blah blah blah... well I told him flat out it wasn't about him, it wasn't his body or anyones but mine. I thought it was great and all that he liked natural boobs [besides the fact I didnt have any lol] but happiness started with myself not anyone else.
