I had a caesarean section for my daughter two years ago. I find that I still have very little muscular strength where the incision was made. Is it possible to get those muscles strong again? What do other people do?

It certainly is possible with hard work! My sister also had a very rough c-sect one year ago. She's almost back to sporting her 6-pack - I am so envious and proud, she's my inspiration. I find that AB exercises - lots of variety with an exercise ball is really helping to get the muscles back - now I am concentrating on the layers of fat overtop!

I had a c-section 15 months ago. I have wondered many times If my belly will ever be the same. I still have that "pouch" thing going on. I've also noticed the muscles are not as strong as they used to be. I certainly hope I can lose the flab associated with it! I don't know what other people do to be honest. But I would imagine anything that has to do with working the abdominal wall. Good luck, and please let me know how you get along.

I had c-section 4 1/2 months ago. I manage to lost some babyfat weight but my Ab muscle still not going back to normal. I believe that doing lots and lots of Ab excercise will help. I try myself but still lazy sometime. Hope you can keep up with it.
Good luck

I have had 2 c-sections. The first was in 2000 and more recently in 2005. After my daughter was born in '05 I decided it was time to get back into shape while I still could. I gave myself some time to heal and really got serious about my belly flap in February of this year. Believe it or not, just doing aerobics helps quite a bit overall to reduce body fat from all over. Abs are good to work also, but in moderation with everything else.
