I'm having trouble figuring these two number games out, and I was wondering
if someone could help me?
Rules are: use operation signs, and/or powers, and/or parentheses. But keep the numbers in order! Happy mathing!
Example: 3 2 5 7 = 18
Would be: (3+2)(5) - 7 =18
5 3 8 4 = 16
1 2 3 4 = 28
I figured three out of SO MAAANNY out, but these two I find kinda hard...EH >.<
Just for fun, don't feel obligated, lol!

(5+3)(8)/4
(1+2)(3)(4)
I'm not just a pretty face...

David... I don't think your second problem is correct. ?? because 9x4 is 36
how about 1 + (2 X 3) (4) = 28

never mind. christy's is right, she just forgot a parentheses.
(1+(2*3))*4
So (1+6)*4
7*4=28
Good work Christy.

(1 + (2x3) ) x 4 is the way I was thinking it out... but I have no idea if you can put paranthesis inside parantheis... Don't we having any Math teachers around here? Help!

I have no idea if you can put paranthesis inside parantheis...
Of course you can. You can have as many nested operations as you want / need.
