Is it okay to have caramel bars (cloudnine) once in a while. I'm not really a fan of chocolates but I indulge in caramel bars if it's in the fridge. The only treats I eat is only caramel bars, I calculate my fat & calories intake everyday and there's just something about caramel bars that I can put my finger on.

Make the calories from those bars work in you day - and it's perfectly ok...

I eat caramel bars all the time, my fave are some gluten free granola topped things that Whole Foods prepares in their bakery. I fear no food, if I can work it into my day or week everything is fair game. Last night I had 4 pints of Young's Double Chocolate Stout and an onion ring tower with dinner and was still well under my 3000 cal per day maintenance level. It was more than I'd usually take in but I didn't lose any sleep over it.

Your question really depends on what kind of diet you're on. Unless you're on a severely carb restricted type diet, you should be able to eat pretty much anything you want, within reason. You just have to justify it based on your goals.

If you're crazy active and you have been strict on your diet for days, then throw in a treat like your bar every once in a while. I have a thing for ice cream sandwiches. I have one of them per week and am still losing weight.

Then again, I am not entering a fitness competition where every detail of your diet has to be in check.
