I am about a month into my new lifestyle and I figured the next step to take was to get a few pictures and measurements. Sorry about the quality of the pics... they are from my phone. :D
It seems to be hard to notice my weight loss because I see myself everyday. I'll use these measurements and pictures to track my progress.
Measurements:
Chest: 58"
Neck: 19"
Waist: 44"
Abdomen: 54"
Right Bicep: 20"
Left Bicep: 20"
Right Thigh: 29"
Left Thigh: 29"
Right Calf: 18"
Left Calf: 18"

Hey brandon, glad to see your post here :)
I hear ya on not seeing the weightloss because you see yourself all the time lol. what really stuck it in my head was on my birthday when I saw the photos and went back and looked at last year's bday pictures..omg. documenting with photos is definitely awesome..I wish I would have done it throughout my whole journey!
Good luck and cant wait to see your progress!!

Hey!
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for the kind words. :D I actually had a rather obstructed view of myself. When I saw myself in the mirror, I didn't think I looked half bad... but... when I looked at myself in a picture, it hit me like a ton of bricks. I just got sick of seeing myself in that way and letting my weight define me. Now here I am... as motivated as can be... and I honestly can say I owe it all to this forum and stories like yours. There is no bigger motivation than seeing success in others.
I actually stopped by your "before and after" pics and you look amazing. How good you must feel. :D You look like a completely different person... and I am digging the young Tina Fey thing you got going on. Keep up the OUTSTANDING work and keep smilin'. :D

You're welcome :) and I can agree with the obstructed view thing. I would look at myself in the mirror and say eh, Im a little heavy but I'm not THAT bad. I never really noticed until I saw photos, and you can only use the "Oh thats just a bad shot" excuse so many times. This place is wonderful motivation. Even though I'm over the big hurdles & closing in on the final stretch of my own weightloss I love being on here and encouraging people and sharing with them the things I've learned in the past year! haha Tiny Fey! I've heard that one before!! not anymore now that the dark hair's gone...but oh well :) thanks for the compliments!
