I have a very tough time with the food thing. I eat things knowing I shouldn't or when I'm not even hungry. I am a mom of a 4 and 3 yr old.
I have lost my baby weight but before I had the babies I had some weight to lose. So....I think I would be happy to lose 20 lbs but that may be too much. I need someone who will hold me accountable for my eating and exercise. I do pretty well with the exercise because the YMCA has childcare and the kids love it so it helps me go. Anyway, the food comsuption if the biggerst hurdle for me right now and I need help. Any takers? I will do the same also of you need that. We can be weight loss buddies. Thank you.

I would be happy to be your buddy! I do have to say though that the first person that has to be accountable for your food intake is you. It's not easy....and it probably isn't ever going to be easy. Heck I just had to force myself not to walk down the candy isle at the CVS b/c I knew that I would convince myself that it was ok to have a 'little chocolate'. Just say no to the snacks. oooh that could be a new bumper sticker. Instead of 'Just say no to drugs' we'll use 'Just say no to snacks'. :) Good luck and keep me posted.

:) Thank you. Today has been pretty good so far. I have to sing at a ball game tonight so I think that is keeping me from pigging out. The kids and I just went to Burger King and I had a side salad! I did have about 4 fries and a bite of a chicken stick, but that's ok. When I get done singing tonight...that will be the true test...ball park food and beer! LOL. Anyway, thank you again. Way to go on your current weight loss!

OK. So singing went well last night. Food...well I did OK. Went out to eat before the game and had a chicken sandwich...it was fried but when I ordered it I thought it was grilled, so I only ate half and only had two beers at the game. Not too bad. Not great but not too bad.:o
This morning I had some oatmeal and I am going to go to the YMCA and have a 400 cal workout to work off the beer!:D Today will be just fine...right?

 Where's my buddy? Well, I didn't do too bad today either...not great but not bad. Shared some Ice cream with the kids but other than that, pretty good.
I did have a 400 cal workout so I think I did ok today. Here comes the weekend!

Seems you lost your accountability buddy, would you like a new one? At one time I struggled with the food, that I am over and I have no more food cravings. So I will keep you accountable with food & food choices, you keep me accountable with exercise. I love to exercise & I did exercise for 4 hours a day, but then I stopped. Once you stop it is hard to get started again. I have been going to the gym this week & I am organizing a shape of missouri contest for my area (that will keep me accountable), I strongly believe in leading be example. My downfall is I home-school 3 children, work from home, & I have a husband that wants me on call for him 24/7. so for me to get exercise in I need to get up very early & head to the gym. So maybe it won't be exercise as much as keeping me accountable to the time I wake up in the morning. If you don't hear from me on this site, it is because I lost the forum we were talking in, so e-mail me at fuel2win@yahoo.com. This is new to me so I will do my best. You can be a part of our contest from afar.
