good luck!!!! I was 202 ( I am 5'2 as well) in May 2007, and 185 lbs when I joined this forum..After trying for over a year and a half to lose, where I lost/then gained/lost the same 35 pounds over and over, I am now about 1/2 way to my goa weightl. It has taken forever, but if you don't lose hope it can work. Just don't get discouraged if you have a bad week, or even bad month. That's what happens to me, I gain back a few pounds, then I end up feeling so badly I just say 'screw it' and gain 20 pounds back. Whats enabled me to start keeping weight off is going right back on my diet after a bad day (like last week I had a day in which I ate 5000 calories!!!!), and not giving up. It is SO hard for me when I cheat, because I get addicted to sugar/fat really easily and crave it, but if I go right back on the diet it limits those cravings. Everyone cheats, I know I will again for sure, it just helps not to beat yourself up about it. Sorry I rambled on haha just some advice that I've recently learned actually works (for me, anyway), good luck again!
