Hi, I'm Frankie. I'm 21 from the Boston Area. I was really heavy for my height back in January of 2007. Then I was 141lbs. I was unhappy for the longest time with my body image. I'm currently still trying to make healthier decisions and since school has been starting up, I've been working out 3 times a week Doing 30 minutes of jogging/walking, and 30 minutes of strength training.

Some stats:
Height: 5'1"
Starting weight: 141lbs
Current Weight: 120lbs
Weight lost so far: about 21lbs

As of late, I am down to 120lbs since Jan of 2007. But I would like to be 100lbs/105/110lbs in that range. My mini goal for the next two weeks is to loose 5 pounds. i think it's good i am going to make a mini goal. I do not get motivated and i find myself coming back to eating food that is unhealthy for me.

So that means i lost a total of 20 pounds since Jan 2007. Of Course this is something to be proud of but I get frustrated and as of late, i am at a dieting plateau. I can't gain or loose any weight and i don't know how to fix it.

I've been on phase 1 of the south beach diet for over 14 days now, more like 18 days. I cut out my carbs completely but still, i am not loosing any more weight.

It sucks because i am so frustrated and then i kick myself for not trying hard enough. I just don't want this muffintop anymore or fat around my thighs and butt. I want a really nice body, if it's possible, i will work as hard as i need to to get it. Loosing weight is about hard work and its discouraging when you hit a plateau.

Any suggestions?

it's a low number but she's 5'1"

maybe change your workout routine?
are you now eating the healthy carbs?

Yes, I know. My mother is also 5'1 but the way her body type is 100lbs on her would look like she was sick. Thats why I asked her if she had pics to see how her body is. Yes, I know some people do look ok being that low and some look sick even if there the same height.

At 135 I wear a size 5/6 so it definitely matters what your bone structure is and what your weight is made up of (fat, muscle...). You should post pics... if you have a negative body image, you're probably not seeing what everyone else sees. :)
