Once again the time has come for the annual Party for the Cure here in Little Rock. Last year my Race for the Cure team threw a big benefit party at a local bar to raise funds for this incredibly worthy cause. It turned out to be a huge success and there were many requests for us to continue this every year from now on. We needed a much larger venue and a local bar/club has donated their place to hold this year's event. We are looking to have 300+ attend this year and are elbow-deep in planning. We already have two bands coming in from Memphis, a top DJ, and a stand-up comic as MC. This year's theme is going to be the "80's" and we are encouraging all who attend to throw on their best 80's garb and come dance the night away for a great cause. All proceeds will go to the Komen Foundation.

This is where I need your help. We are selling t-shirts at this event to raise even more funds and are needing some fun slogans. Our t-shirt last year said "I *HEART* Boobies" and sold like crazy! I need to more ideas for the perfect shirt!! Hit me with your best shot!!

when i did the 3 day walk last year -my favorite tshirt ever was the Saving Second Base tshirt...

OK so some people needed the bases explanation... but it was an awesome shirt..

Mal beat me to the second base slogan, which is my favorite. On a more serious note I have seen, Breast cancer is for life: Not just for October.

I love the Saving Second Base idea, I'll run it by my team again this year. The dirtier the connotation, the more they sell. :D Another idea someone has was "How About These Apples" with pink ribbon on the back of the shirt. I promised the printer I'd have a design to him in a couple of weeks so I've got to get a slogan chosen so I can design the rest of it.

We are actually thinking of a fun contest for the event, I like the flock of seagulls hair contest idea. Or biggest hair or an air guitar contest. We are definitely having the Top Ten list this year as well with a few changes to the list.

I've seen shirts that say "Save the Ta-Ta's" I thought it was funny
