View Full Version : 266lbs to 243lbs!!

Finally had a chance to take a full-length shot today so I can actually give a decent idea of my weight loss so far.
First picture was my absolute heaviest, 19 stone. Last summer in Rome with my brother.
Second picture is today, 23lbs down with my brother and mum at a castle we decided to go to for the day!

My brother is my inspiration, he has lost almost 5 stone in 12 months and is one of the fittest people I know now! Amazing.
Unfortunately for me my mum is just naturally slim. Gutted. haha!

I don't think there's a massive difference anywhere but my tummy really, looks less pregnant!!! My chin is detatched itself from my neck now too, I actually have a jaw-line...

Hurrah! I'm so glad! I definately FEEL a difference but wasn't so sure it was obvious to anyone but me yet :)

congrats to you- are you still at 23 pounds? I was on vacation last week and took a mini vacation from the calorie counting.. I still made sure I didn't go crazy with food and I did a lot of swimming, walking and one crazy day at the gym just before I left, but I laso allowed myself a few indulgences too so that I could feel like I was really on vacation.. I haven't weighed myself since last weekend, so I have no idea where I'm at. My guess is that since I didn't have access to all of my handy little "low calorie" foods, I did not lose any additional weight, but since I stayed active and didn't go crazy with the bad foods, there should be no way I gained any either. I'm heading to the gym tonight though, so we'll see. I have to admit, it was nice taking a little mental break from all the strict regimen, but the funniest thing is that I've trained myself so well these past 5 weeks, that I had moments where I wanted to drink a bottle of water instead of soda or juice and I wanted to go for an uphill walk... now that's definitely progress for me!!!! And by the way- I can definitely see a change with your 23 pounds down... it's harder to see it in ourselves, but it's very noticeable to the people around us... keep it up- maybe you and I can motivate each other by comparing weekly weight loss :-)
