I am from Pennsylvania myself, slightly over half an hour from Pittsburgh. I was slightly perturbed the other day; as I was walking, I caught sight of a red-legged pigeon in my neck of the woods. No clue how it got this far from its home.

Most people don't know where Pottstown is. They often confuse it with Pottsville, which most people have heard about since it's home of Yuengling beer.

When people ask where I'm from and they're out of town, I normally ask if they know where King of Prussia is. If they don't know that, I simply say I'm not too far outside of Philly.

Hey..PA has some cool cities. Like...uhm....*wanders off* lol, but really, most we've got is Philly, The Pocono's, and Pitts. Or if you're like me n live on the very outskirts of Reading and Bernville, you get cows, cows, and more cows! Oh, and Amish people. I live in such a strange area because of my location to Reading and Lebanon.

Seems like an agreeable arrangement to me. You can live in the country but visit the cities when you want big city diversions.
