View Full Version : PitbullMommy's transformation

I started my transformation about 3 weeks ago (well, one of many). At my highest weight, I weighed almost 200#. At my lowest, I've been at about 160. When I started my transformation in July 2008, I weighed 186. Today, I'm at 181.
I've been waiting to add pictures because I'm extremely nervous about the feedback. So, if you're going to be (as the mods put it) "a little too truthful", please don't post. But if you want to encourage me as I make my transition, post away!!
My goal weight is 150 by January 1st, 2009. This will be the day before we leave for our cruise!! My photos are starting in my under-roos because I'll eventually fit into the bathing suits I'm buying (no one wants to see the result now, lol).
I read over the moderators "please read first" message and it said that anything goes as long as you can take the heat. But if anyone is offended, let the mods know and I'll either edit or remove the pictures as needed. :)
I'll eventually be able to do a good "back shot". Unfortunately, the camera and I disagreed this time on how long "10 seconds" really is. :)
These photos are completely untouched (except for cropping out the rest of my bedroom items), so please go easy. Forgive the bruising on my legs, it's a hazard of being a Veterinary Technician.
I look forward to everyone's input!

:blush5: I'm 5'5 on my tall days, lol.
I'm hoping I can fit all of my "cheekiness" into the bottoms of the swim suits I'm buying by January, lol. Otherwise, I may have a ton of tops...and have to buy some neutral colored bottoms. "Low rise" is not my friend just yet, LMAO!
Thanks for the kind words :)

low rise isn't the friend of many women - they just don't have the sense to realize it :)
have you taken your before measurements?
oh yeah and you look great now... You're only going to get better... (a lot of women, and men too would kill for a booty like yours :S

Yes. My pictures may not depict my figure, but I'm an hourglass (a larger than average hourglass...but one none-the-less).

Wow. You really do carry your weight quite well. And since I don't know of any civilized way to put this, I wanna bounce loonies off that ass. GRAWR.
Keep at it and your next set will probably have me chewing whole trays of ice...
...I hope this was more encouraging than creepy. Okay, good talk. :leaving:

True enough -and just drives home the point how really irrelevant the number on the scale is - What does a specific number really look like... it looks different on every person... so why obsess over getting to there... (well except int he case of wishes who needed a number to have surgery) but we really should be more focused on what we're seeing and how we're feeling...

That is precisely why my goal weight isn't 110#. There is simply no way that 110# would look good on my body. I've got far too much leg muscle to carry 110# decently without looking sickly (and probably weird). If I could make it down to 150, I'm pretty sure that I'd look almost perfect. At 160, I felt and looked great. I have a pretty good mentality about my own body despite the fact that I'm thick. And, as you guys have pointed out, I still have some nice features. I think it's important to still love the body you're in even if it's not perfect. Not everyone has the bone structure to be teeny tiny and some of us need to accept that. I have big bone structure naturally...and have (as my fiance affectionally puts it) "softball player legs". I'm never going to get a shot at having Tina Turner's legs (hell, I could probably leg press the woman, lol)...but J-lo may have some competition in another department ;)
I hope my little rant inspired someone to quit looking in the mirror so much and picking out their faults...there's so much pessimism about weightloss. There's something to be said about the mental state you're in when you start a process like this. You've got to want it...you can't just show up and expect things to happen on their own.
Alright </rant> :)

It's not the mirror I'm looking at.
... It's just that I was aiming for more than slightly creepy. Hurt my feelings. :(

I am the same way. I have muscular legs and before I had my son I was 155-160 [I am 185 right now] I was toned and in shape. Everyone thought I weighed at least 125... Whenever I told them the real number they never believed me. Im a runner so my legs are always going to be thick, I also have a thick butt too... I actually like my butt and hope it stays with me as I lose more weight lol.

We carry our weight similarly and you do carry your weight well. As my mother would say, you are 'solid'. I am like you, I don't carry it as well in the front as I do the back. Look forward to your progress! I think you will do and look great!:hurray::hurray:
