Thought I'd start this thread as I'm getting close to my goal weight. I will start up the gym time again as it's been non-existent for a while now. The majority of my weight was lost through diet.
I really didn't take any photo's of myself at my highest weight of 210 but I have some random picture of me at 200 lbs. I also have a picture of me at around 180 lbs and a current picture of me taken today. After I tone up more and reach my goal weight I'll post some more pictures :).
What do you guys think of my progress so far?

Good stuff man. Make sure you work in the weight training... it makes a world of difference especially with someone at your point.

Thanks Steve. I'm heading to my parents this weekend so I plan to bring my dumbbells back with me so I can start up the routine again. I have access to a gym but I honestly don't feel the need to go there right now when I can do training here at home.

Certainly don't need a gym. As long as you are progressively lifting heavier and heavier weights and training with a balanced approach.

Been progressing quite a bit lately. Can't wait for the break during Christmas. I'll be going home for 3 weeks and a couple of my friends will be taking me to the gym to educate me more on weight training.
Okay so I threw together this photo that shows what I looked like one year ago and what I look like today. I laugh every time I look at it.

Thank you everyone for the encouragement! It really means a lot coming from those who are also going through weight loss. I recall going back to my hometown after losing a bunch of weight, all the positive comments I received were really overwhelming. For some odd reason though I actually started to hate hearing it all day, everyday. But when I get these comments on here I enjoy them.

Yeah I remember when I first got them done how hard it was to eat. My lips were all sore and I kept getting my fork stuck between the piercings hehe. I took them out after having them for 6 months in order to take a week long job in Vegas; free flight, free hotel, expenses covered, and I got paid so it was all worth it. I thought about getting them done again but decided not too. Couldn't get them done today if I wanted to though, not in-line with my career choice.

Thanks everyone. Now that I've reached my goal weight I'm setting another goal for myself. I'm going to try and reveal my abs more, you know, that six pack so many desire. From reading on here it seems the way to achieve this is lowering my body fat %. Does this mean I must continue to diet until they pop? Any advice would be appreciated :).

Okay so I guess I'll try and get the six pack by cutting my body fat % through dieting. Would still like if someone could confirm I'm doing it the right way. This is what I gathered from reading previous responses on the forum, but still :P. I'm just a bit hesitant on this one because I'm 5'11'' and already 140 lbs. So it looks as though I must get somewhere in 130 lbs, I don't think I have much left to lose though so I'm thinking this won't take quite as long?

Thanks to Steve's advice I'm going to scrap the six pack goal for now. I'm going to bulk up to build back the muscle that I lost, which was quite a bit. It seems I went about things wrong by not lifting enough and cutting the calories too low in the beginning. Hopefully I can do it right this time, I'm very excited to get this started. I'll post a picture I took today. It shows what my body looks like now and the extent of my muscle loss. Be prepared to see a new muscle covered version of myself sometime in the future :D.

Since my goal has changed and I'm now trying to gain some muscle mass I'm going to stick to my diary if anyone was interested in tracking my progress. I'll post periodic pictures here and information when I feel I've progressed enough to warrant it.
