Hey all,
This is my first post-- Im a newbie.. Looking to get back to my "Hot" weight. Im 30 and have put on about 20 lbs since I got married.. I know protein and veggies.. but what's LEAN protein? And what about Fat content, like nuts? They are loaded with Protein but also with fat..What's good protein to chow on?? Right now Im on carrots, celery and PB, fresh baby spinach salads, water, yogurt-- but Im missing protein..

Chicken (all fat trimmed away), fish, seafood, are a few examples of lean protein. Beef can also be used if you choose the right cuts. But take care in the way you prepare them. Watch the amounts of oil you use and little or no butter otherwise the calories and fat can add up quickly. Don't dispair! By using different spices and seasonings you can create lots of great flavor without all the fat. Good luck!
