Hi all,

When I started my weight loss journey one book that got me through in particular was "Feel the Fear and Do it Anyway" by Susan Jeffers. I highly recommend it.

I was wondering if you could suggest a couple of self help books that got you through particular stages in life or that served as a motivational tool?

I'd love to pick up something else to read as I make it through the second part of my weight loss journey. Just need some recommendations! Thanks! :)

I'm in the george carlin camp when it comes to self help - self help means you should be helping yourself -not paying some moron who wrote a book to help you :D

That said -there's two decent books that are good for getting a person's head out of thier proverbial ass when it comes to pity parties...

Andy Andrews book -
The Traveler's Gift: Seven Decisions ... - Google Book Search (http://books.google.com/books?id=BTsDAAAACAAJ&dq=Andy+Andrews&hl=en&sa=X&oi=book_result&resnum=1&ct=result)

is a must read for everyone...

and the four agreements by don migul ruiz
