Hawgdaddy1,,,,Im in if your talking about loseing all this flab in 09 ,,,I just bought a New Harley in sept an I look like a moose on a moped !!!!! Gotta lose at least 100 lbs the faster the better !!!!! My wife an I are joining Weight Watchers ! A Christmas gift to each other !!! Thanks for the Battle Cry !!! Im In !!

HD - I am definitely in. 2008 was not one of my best. I was rawking it in 2007, feeling awesome and looking good. Then... ruh roh!... fell off the workout wagon and into a box of krispy kremes... :banghead:

I have all the tools I need, I just have to USE them. For aerobic workouts I use my jump rope or do a video (just got the zumba series). I also do lower-body strength work, and hand weights for upper body.

I'm not one for dieting, really. I need to eat breakfast every day, and not just subsist on coffee until noon. More whole grains, more quality protein, more food that nourishes my body.

I am going to join in too. I have lost about 77 pounds, unfortunately I became stuck and then the Christmas season has taken hold. I am ready to get free and start losing again. Afraid to jump on the scale tomorrow, but I know that some of it is water so I know that will come off as soon as I eat better. My birthday is in 9 days and I am going to the club with a bunch of my fellow mom friends and I want to feel good going out. So for right now my goal is to eat healthy and drink lots of water and run at the YMCA. I just want to lose the full, gross feeling before my birthday and then I will tackle the rest of my weight to get to goal sometime in 2009. I bought a size 10 dress and that is where I would like to be by May(my anniversary). So let's kick some butt! I will make sure I come to this thread and update daily.

fit for me ,,,, I to have gone off the workout wagon for to to long , I used to lift 4 times a week , an done that 4 years then got divorced an its been hit an miss ever since.. So now with the help of all you guys Im going to give it a try once again!!!! Thanks

Shotgun - When I'm getting fit, strength training is a MUST! I think of it as building a bigger engine to burn more fuel. I have a killer dvd that I like to do, it is nothing but squats, plies, floor touches, dead-lifts, etc. Gets those hammies but good!!

I took weight-training classes at college and l.o.v.e.d them! I'm not one of those chicks who is too scared of bulking up to lift some weights.

I'm in! I am getting married in July and would like to lose at least 50 pounds but hopefully if I get my butt in gear I can lose 65-70! I want to look the best I can for the wedding photos and the rest of my life!
