Victoria's Secret - Knot-front curvy jersey dress (http://www2.victoriassecret.com/commerce/application/prodDisplay/?namespace=productDisplay&origin=onlineProductDisplay.jsp&event=display&prnbr=8N-193557&page=1&cgname=OSCLODRSVIL&rfnbr=2667)

What do you think of this dress? I was considering ordering it for a "goal" dress, for my goal weight( or about). i like the blue or the black- what do you guys think?

It's a cute dress - and real people aren't going to have the boobs that the vs model has.... I'd be concerned about the clingieness of the fabric.. and how low cut it is ... it might be a little too old for you... but hey if it gets you to your goal - it's your opinion that matters no one elses

Though i'd go away from the black and go for a color... depending on when you wil be wearing the dress... for summer - little dresses in bold colors are stylish... and young...

Yea, I am not good with fashion.. so I just thought- oh what a cute dress! I like red, but I someone told me it makes you look bigger, I have been looking at dresses all morning lol

Red makes a person stand out - it doesn't really make a person look bigger -just like black really doesn't make a person look all that much smaller...

try it on and see how you like it...

If you have a Dress barn store in your area or an Ann Taylor Loft - go there and try on some dresses - some of the stuff they've had has been pretty cute... and it's much easier when you can try on stuff in the store, not only for size but for style as well - since no human being will ever look like a VS model - especially not after they airbrush everything... it's tough to know what the dress will really look like...

Thanks for the feedback Mal, and JDhd...

I do not have ANY stores around me, but I am sure when I go to my sisters I can look around there!

It's adorable and I'm sure the cleavage only looks that extreme thanks to a great push up bra with padding or even inserts lol. The cut of the dress looks like it'll be really flattering because it's an A line dress so it cuts you off at your smallest point.

oh and I'd go with the blue...from what I can see in the picture of your coloring it would be flattering where black might wash you out a little. Pair it with a long dangly gold accented necklace and some bangles and it'll be beyond cute. To tone down the look of the dress (because it is lowcut) try pairing it with flats

so I bought a dress for my grandmother's wedding- and it is a size 10, and fits fine and is fitted everywhere except in the boobs where it is snug. I was pretty happy. I wear a size 14-16 in jeans, I am sure dresses run big or something, but it made me very happy- and it was also 30% off haha! :P

Don't sell yourself short - i've found that i can wear a 12 in pants but a dress - 12s rarely fit - I need at least a 14 sometimes a 16...

Well done on the size 10...

your grandma is getting married? that's so cool

what's the dress look like?

Yea, its a small wedding. She recently met a really nice man- I am so happy she found someone. She has been alone since 1998 when my grandpa died of a heart attack. They met about 6 months ago- and they tell everyone " why should we wait!" its so cute..

here is a picture of the dress, it looks better on a person, but I didn't take a picture when I tried it on. It's different , but my sister was like thats what you should get! :P

EDIT: it goes a little bit above the knee, like I said it looks way better on a person lol

I have decided to be very close to my goal weight by Christmas if not my goal weight which is somewhere between 125-135. I am going to throw out my whole closet ... I am so tired of all my clothes! lol... I will be like " Just give me money or gift cards please! " ...
