Hey this is my first post, but I have a question.

When I was younger (19), I ended up doing the whole weight loss thing and was successful. Now I'm 25 and sort have let myself go over the years and need to get things back in order.

Basically, what I did before was eat smaller meals more often. I counted calories for two weeks to figure out my maintenance amount and figure out how much I should be eating. After that point I just new in my head how much I should eat. I went to the gym at the same time and the pounds came off.

I'm just curious what other people are doing to lose weight since there could be a better way of doing this.

Thanks,
Chris

Lower calories, lots of exercise.

What Edco said.

And what I've found is that the more exercise you can get in, the more calories you can allow yourself to have. I eat pretty much normally except that I am better about portions now and I'm careful to keep junk food/red meat/alcohol intake to a minimum. But when I work out everyday, I can eat enough to keep me satisfied all day and I still drop weight regularly.

Also, drinking lots of water helps. I try for 8 8 oz. glasses a day, plus an extra 3 glasses for the fifty pounds I want to lose.

What you did last time sounds perfect. Lower you cal intake and up your exercise. It shoudl be encouraging to you that you have had success in the past. Good luck!

Thanks everyone,

I guess things don't change that often when it comes to weight loss.

Where can I get some of those. It has been along time since I have owned any CFM heels. Maybe I should get a pair for some goal shoes?

everyone should own a pair of CFM shoes... boys and girls - they just make you feel all tingly and special.. :D (it might very well be the blood being cut off from the pinchy toes but beauty comes with a price :D

My beauty was free. Some dude gave it to me. He also gave me my personality, but even so I call it a win.
