Yup!
I had my girl 4 1/2 weeks ago and I am trying to loose 40 lbs still.. I lost 20 already..

At my last day of pregnancy I weighed in at 183lbs, and I'm only 5'2".. After labor I was a 168lbs... Now I am 160... I can't really work out yet, because I still have to go to my 6 weeks check up.. But I walk daily with the stroller about 40 minutes, and I watch what I eat..

I wanna be 120 again.. I don't set myself a date when I 'have' to reach my goal but my goal is at least by next spring to summer... Wanna look good in a bikini and miniskirt again.. But the earlier the better of course... No rushing though..

Gotta get rid of that extra love we got here :D

I'm a mom of a 6yr old and a 3 yr old and I work over nights, so i'm a tired mom all the time. My eating habits are getting better and i'm building up to start working out. I'm going to lose 20lbs, and feel good about myself again:)

Hi Yummy Mummies! I am reading a book called Slummy Mummy and the title of this post reminds me of it because there are references to yummy mummies in the book. Anyway I would like to join. I have 5 kids. Ages 13, 12, 9, 3, and 21 months. I need to get back on track. I lost about 75 pounds so far but I have been stuck here. I would like to lose 30-35 more pounds. Hoping to get there by Summer.
Good luck on your journey. I am glad I came across this.

Great girls. At least we have a little group now. Bellwix I have a 6 and and a 2/12 year old too. Do you exercise with them? I push my daughter in the pram and my son rides his bike. It helps because he is so fast and I have to keep my heart rate up to catch up to him.

fat2fit sounds like you have a really, really busy household. When do you get time to exercise? And congrats on the weight loss so far!

Thanks! It is usually crazy in my house. Around May of this year I got tired of sitting around so I emailed all my friends to see if anyone would be interested in running. We started the Couch to 5K program and out of about 8 original people, 3 completed it and a couple more got close. Because of schedule changes the running club now consists of 2 people. But, we are dedicated and we run 3 nights a week(at 9pm). Usually 3.5 to 5 miles. Last weekend we ran a 10K(non-stop) race which was a huge accomplishment for me. I never thought I would be able to run over 6 miles. There is an 8K race this weekend that I will probably do. I try to do the races so I have something to keep me going. If I can just get my eating back in check I would be able to get to goal easier. Talk to you later. Have a great weekend everyone!

Holy moly! You must be fit! That is so good!

It is supposed to rain here all week so I have no idea how I am supposed to get my cardio done this week. I could do a few exercise dvds, but it's just not the same as being outside. So much healthier in the fresh air.

I might just use this week to pump up the weights lol. Better than nothing hey.

Hi there,

I’m working on a documentary about pregnancy and body image for ITV1 and am looking to speak to women who have recently given birth or have a young toddler and still look glamorous.

With celebrities getting back to catwalk-ready figures in next to no time and A-listers proudly parading their perfect bumps on magazine covers, we want to explore whether women across the country feel pressurized to stay in shape and I’m keen to hear from women who have gone the extra mile to look slim and gorgeous during their pregnancy and / or after their baby’s birth.

Are you a yummy mummy who’s become a gym junkie?
Are you keeping to a strict diet?
Are you considering cosmetic surgery to get your body back into shape after your baby’s birth?

If you’re a new mum that refuses to let her looks go, it would be great to hear from you.

If you’re happy to have a chat or just want to find out more information you can contact me on: 020 7013 4595 or seema.modhvadia(at)rdftelevision.com. All contact will be strictly confidential and does not commit you to the programme in any way.

Many thanks and looking forward to hearing from you.

With best wishes,

Seema
